Aishwarya Is Not A Happy ‘Ragini’

Aishwarya played the character of ‘Ragini’ in the movie ‘Raavan’, even after her appearances as lead in both Hindi and Tamil movies; she sadly got nothing out of it.

Ash was seen doing active public appearances before the release of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’. But, ever since the movie got released, she is hardly seen doing anymore PR.

Sources adds, “It is to be noted that Ash has not made any public appearance after the film and her PR machinery has been asked to remain silent regarding her whereabouts. This is to avoid any uncomfortable questions from the media.”
Another source adds, “The former Miss World was extremely excited before the release of the film since she played the heroine in both Hindi and Tamil versions. Ash thought that she and her husband Abhishek would win accolades from all quarters. But the output was different and this has depressed her a lot.”

Whether it is Ash or Abhishek, the stars are anyways never held responsible for any movie’s failure; it is only the concept and editing which fails. Even Big B has got some similar views.

Amitabh Bachchan writes on his blog, “Lot of merited film edited out, causing inconsistent performance and narrative. Abhishek's erratic behaviour was due to symbolic 10 heads visually appearing and each giving him different attitudes to adopt for a situation, he would then finally shake them off and decide.”

So, the agitated Bachchan family, who expected something extraordinary from the movie ‘Raavan ’, its failure is still haunting them day and night.

Ash’s On A Crazy Roller Coaster Ride

The super talented and the world’s most beautiful lady, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan feels it’s time for a recess and sighs “It’s been a crazy roller coaster ride.”

With the release of Raavan, the actress seems to crave for a break now, but unfortunately her busy schedules don’t permit her that.

She adds “Life right now is super hectic, in fact super hectic to the power of ten.”

Ash and Abhi are soccer fans and are craving for attending the FIFA World Cup.

But, Ash candidly adds “Abhishek and I are both soccer fans and and we root for Brazil. But as far as going for the world cup is concerned, I don’t think we would be able to make it. Things are just too busy.”

The Bacchan trio came under some controversy for their absence in the IIFA awards in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Super star, Salman Khan also criticized Amitabh Bachchan for not attending the IIFA, despite IIFA’s brand ambassador.

Ash explains “The press made this into a big issue, without getting into facts. My international commitments are chalked out at the start of the year itself and Wizcraft (the organisers of IIFA) knows that well. I had committed to attending the French Open in Paris.”
She also adds further “Abhishek was shooting for ‘Game’ in Istanbul. In any case, he said it’s Pa who’s the brand ambassador of IIFA, not us. We need not go every year. And despite wanting to, we couldn’t have made time for it. Still if people say bad things, what to do?"

"The tongue is the only boneless entity in the body, so those who want to talk unnecessarily, would continue to do so.”

She says, that they had commitment towards their movie ‘Raavan’ and director mentor Mani Ratnam. Ash says, it was Mani Ratnam who has added fuel to her’s and Abhi’s career. Mani Ratnam gave the first break to Ash and Ratnam gave a turn to Abhishek’s career through the movie Yuva.
